Bahrain Vehicle Sales at record volume in the first half 2014 with a new robust increase from the correspondent period last year with Toyota that is further gaining space with market share growth near 50% and Lexus shining.

In June 2014 according to data collected by focus2move in the country, the total new Light Passengers Vehicles sold have been 5.202, a wonderful 19.6% increase compared with the correspondent month last year.

During the first half of 2014, new vehicles sales have been 30.164, gaining 16.5% from year ago, posting the best ever first half and the best half ever.

Toyota has been the market leader since the first development of this market. However the level of dominion achieved in the first half of this year is really impressive while the arrival of new comers should have diluted the Japanese leader quota.

In June Toyota has boosted sales by 115.2% from the correspondent month last year ending the half with a market share near 50% many points better than last year.

Hyundai was second with share just below 10% followed by Kia, which is gaining space, with share at 7.5% in the half.

Behind, Lexus scored an outstanding performance achieving in Bahrain one of the highest market share worldwide.
