Russian car loans incentives can come back in the second half of year, despite in April the end of government incentive to buy new cars was confirmed. Russian Ministry of Finance plans to raise rates of excise duties on cars and motorcycles by 26.5 % by 2017 compared to 2014 in accordance with the draft of main directions of the tax policy of the Russian Federation for 2015-2017. Actually the excise tax is 34 rubles for 1 HP for vehicles with capacity of 90-150 HP, in 2015 it is planned to increase to 37 rubles, in 2016 - to 41 rubles and in 2017 to 43 rubles.

The President of AvtoVAZ, Bo Andersson, has disclosed the Russian Company mid terms business plan in a press conference. According to this plan of development the share of Lada in the Russian market must be at least 20% by 2020. In addition, the share of exports of Lada models will increase to 50% in the volume of external supplies of Russian-made cars.
