Dacia Global performance in the first eight months of the 2017 was again almost positive scoring a +10.9% and growing in all regions, including the Pacific where it is sold just in the French territories. Sandero is the best-selling model.

Following the quite positive performance reported in the period 2010-2016, during the first eight months of the 2017 Dacia’s momentum is not over and global sales increased 10.9% at 427.027 units.

Sales are growing fast in the Levant (+40.0%), North Africa (+21.9%), East Europe (including Turkey) (+18.9%) and in the Pacific Area (+15.3%).

At model wise, the best model was the Sandero with 161.598 sales (+15.5%) followed by the Duster with 116.820 (+0.7%) and the Logan with 51.085 (-0.8%).

In the period 2010-2016 Dacia has scored a remarkable performance at global sales, growing from 329.000 sales in the 2010 to 588.000 million in the 2016, performing a Compound annual growth rate (C.A.G.R) of 13.0%, while the industry CAGR in the period was +4.6%.

In this period, Dacia has gained 5 steps within the Global Car Brands Ranking landing in the 40th place.

Sales split at regional level confirmed in the 2016 the supremacy of the European region counting the 85.9% of total sales (it was 88.5% in the 2010) while the African sales represent the 12.9% (from 10.8%).

In our report we figure out this brand’s sales data in 49 different countries, with forecast up to the 2022.

On top of all, in the 2016 there was France with 19.1% of global sales share (from 31.7% in the 2010), ahead of Germany with 9.4% (from 11.4%), Spain with 9.3% (from 6.6%), Italy with 8.5% and Turkey with 8.1%.
