Finland Vehicles Market slow in Q1 2015 albeit recovering in March. Toyota was market leader with the Auris advanced in the third step of the podium just ahead of the Yaris. Nissan, Peugeot and Mitsubishi shine.

In March 2015 according to data released by The Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector, total new Car Passengers Vehicles sold have been 10.936, up 13.6% from the correspondent month last year.

Due to the negative performance reported in the first two months of the year, the 2015 started slow, with first quarter sales at 29.192, down 4.3% from the correspondent period last year.

No news on top of the competition led by the Japanese Toyota, which sold 1.399 sales in March and 3.173 in the quarter, with market share at 10.9%.

In second place in March there was Nissan, thanks to a phenomenal +92.7% from last year, ahead of Skoda, second in the quarter but third in the month with sales down 3.0%.

Immediately behind Volkswagen with 1.003 March sales and 3.105 in the Q1.

Looking at the Car Groups performance, Volkswagen Group led with 25.1% of share, ahead of Renault-Nissan at 15.1% and Toyota at 13.0%.

As far as best-selling models performance and ranking, the leader in March was the Nissan Qasquai with 694 units followed by Skoda Octavia (leader in the quarter) with 622 and Toyota Auris with 424.
