Global Auto Report with Top 50 markets in July 2014 confirms Germany in 4th place ahead of Brazil and India, while Canada overtook France for the ninth place. Egypt, Iran, Ireland, Portugal, Philippines are listed among the fastest growing.

In July 2014 according to data collected by focus2move Research Team in over 110 markets, the total new Light Passengers Vehicles global market was up 3.1% from the previous year with 6.98 million units.

Year to date July global sales have been just over 50.47 million with an increase of 3.6% from year ago or 1.75 million more than the correspondent month last year.

In July China keeps pushing up the global data with over 1.6 million vehicles sold and a great 8.9% increase compared with the correspondent month last year.

USA was up 9.3% with sales at 1.43 million while the third, Japan, was down 2.4% at 459.000 units.

Behind, Germany kept growing and now it is consolidating the fourth place recovered this year outpacing Brazil, a market in harsh conditions and down 13.7% in July, with a cumulative loss of 8.4%.

Thanks to a double digit performance, Canada advanced in 9th place outpacing France (-4.3%), while South Korea was 11th ahead of Italy, Mexico and Spain.

Looking at top 5’ market, the July fastest growing was Egypt (37th with 21.212 sales, up 99.0%) just thanks to a favorable comparison with last year when market collapsed in July.

Others fast growing markets had ben Ireland (36th with 21.243, +64.4%), thanks to the introduction of a new plate system, Iran (17th with 79.484, +37.8%), Portugal (42nd with 16.367, +33.9%), Philippines (34th with 23.645, +28.8%) and Kazakhstan (38th with 19.947, +24.0%).
