Israeli Auto Market surged 14% in November 2014. Mitsubishi shined almost doubling volume from year ago thanks to Attrage and Outlander performance. Great result also for Seat mainly due to a strong Ibiza.

In November 2014 according to data released by the Israeli Department of Transportation System total new Light Passenger Vehicles sold in Israel have been 19.574 up 17.3 compared with the correspondent month last year.

Year-to-November sales in Israel have been 242.010, up 14.1% from the correspondent period last year.

Hyundai kept the leadership in November with 2.524 sales and 30.414 cumulate registrations with share respectively at 12.9% and 13.3%, with sales volume down 1.8 points from 2013.

Toyota was second this month (and 2nd looking at absolute figures too) thanks to 2.385 retails or 12.2% of share, improving volume by 16.5%. Year-to-date sales have been 26.072 with share at 11.4%, down 07% from year ago.

Immediately behind, Kia sold 2.333 cars, up an impressive 62.4%, while Skoda gained two places from August selling 1.416 units.

Mitsubishi posted a formidable performance surging 92.8% in November 2014 with 1.371 sales, followed by Mazda (1.130) and Suzuki (1.037).

The month was memorable for Seat (8th with 890 sales, +108.9%), Subaru (16th with 350 units, +107.1%), Land Rover (29th with 34 units, +112.5%) and SSangYong (31st with 22 sales, +175%).

Looking at the report on Car Groups, the September leader was Hyundai-Kia with 24.8% of market share, ahead of Volkswagen Group with 15.6% and Toyota with 12.6%.

As far as model ranking report, the Toyota Corolla was always on top (for the 15th consecutive time) with 908 sales increasing sales by 8.4%, followed by Kia Picanto (+28.7%) with 3 units less than the leader and an astonishing Seat Ibiza, up 207.4% from year ago with 707 sales.

Among the top 25, the fastest models have been the Hyundai i10 (4th with 654 units, +296.4%) with Mazda3, Kia Rio, Kia Sportage, Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Citigo and Toyota Verso.
