The market continues to perform in line with the forecast and the Automotive Manufcaturers Committee (AEB) is confirming its full year projection for 2.8 million, the second best year ever for the Russian car industry.
March has confirmed the trend, highlighted by focus2move.com reports on February, on progressive market share lost by Russian Brands. Now they are at 22.5%, or 0.4 down from February and 6.6 down from March 2011. Traditionally Lada and Uaz are producing products with old style, low technology, but cheap. Now, in the low segment price of the market they had been put under pression by Koreans and Chinese competitors. It seems they are not able maintain their position.
