Netherland best selling cars ranking. The top 100 in 2015.

Netherland best selling cars ranking in the first nine months of the 2015 was is led by Volkswagen Golf confirming its position ahead of Renault Clio and Peugeot 308. Last generation Volkswagen Passat soared in 14th place.

Market Outlook

Following three years of decline the Dutch vehicles market in the 2015 is recovering. Indeed in the first half sales had been up 2.0% while in the third quarter reported astrong progress.

Indeed, accordingly with data released by Reivereninging, the Dutch Association of Car Manufacturers, in July sales had been up 13.9%, in August up 22.3% and in September up 18.3% with 33.908, 31.225 and 35.277 respectively.

During the last nine months of the year, sales had been 303.525, +6.9%% compared with the correspondent period last year.

Best Selling Cars

During the first nine months of the 2015, the Dutch new cars marekt was dominated by the Vokswagen Golf, sold in 13.485 units (+2.8%) confirming the leadership already gained last year. In second place the Renault Clio with 12.934 sales (+18.4%) followed by two emerging models, the Peugeot 308 with 10.355 (+47.8%) and the Volkswagen Polo with 8.127 (+29.4%).

In fifth place the Kia Picanto with 7.344 units (+4.0%) akead of the Volkswagen Up! with 7.244 (-9.8%), the Ford Fiesta with 7.033 (+4.5%), the Peugeot 108 with 6.441 (+202.3%), the Renault Captur with 6.062 (-10.4%) and the Opel Corsa with 5.608 (+7.9%).

Raising stars are the last generation Volkswagen Passat (13th with 5.013, +335.2%) and the new Citroen Cactus 14th with 4.701.
