Norway Electric Vehicles segment at 13% and Hybrids at 8% in the 2014. Tesla sold over 4.000 units in the year while many EV models are on top of best-selling models list. The full market was up only 1%, at best level in the decade.

In December 2014 according to data released by Opplysningsrådet for Veitrafikken AS, the Norwegian Road Federation, total new Car Passengers sold in Norway have been 12.649, up a robust 11.0% compared with the correspondent month last year.

Full Year 2014 sales in Norway have been 144.202, up 1.4% from the correspondent period last year.

During the 2014 18.094 Electric Vehicles were sold in this country while Hybrids had been 11.565.

In December, Volvo advanced in first place with 2.072 sales (+10.0%) followed by Volkswagen with 2.019 and Toyota with 1.055.

In the entire year, Volkswagen was first with 21.659 (+13.2%), Toyota second with 16.000 (-10.7%) and Volvo third with 11.325 (-4.5%).

Looking at the recently introduced report on Car Groups, the December leader was Volkswagen Group with 26.4% of market share, ahead of Geely Group with 16.4% and Toyota with 8.8%.

As far as model ranking report, the Volkswagen Golf was again on top with 990 sales (+114%) ahead of Volvo V70 and V40 respectively with 562 and 535 units.
