Pakistan Car Sales in first half 2014 slipped down again.

Pakistan Car Sales in first half 2014 slipped down again posting in June the fifth year on year decline in a string and keeping the negative momentum. Unfortunately the outlook for the rest of the year is further more negative.

In June 2014 according to data released d by P.A.M.A., the Pakistani Automotive Manufacturers Association, total new Light Passengers Vehicles sold have been 11.157, losing 18.4% from year ago and posting the fourth year on year loss in a row. In the first half of 2014 sales have been 73.435, down 5.6%.

Despite the recent loss, we expect that the market will further drop in the second half hit by negative economic factors including increased fuel price and low GDP trend.

In June Honda was the only raising brand improving sales 15.8% compared with the correspondent month last year while Suzuki and Toyota have lost.
