Pakistan Car Market starts 2014 finally up. See top brands & models ranking.

Following  the deep loss reported last year, the start of 2014 gave signs of recovery for the domestic car market in Pakistan. Indeed, accordingly with data released by P.A.M.A., (Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association) total light vehicle sold in first two months of the year have been 26.603, up 4.6% with January up 8.6% and February 0.5%.

Pakistan actually is the World’s 46th larger country despite in terms of population it is one of top 20, but low-income and an unproductive policy regarding the automotive sector had stopped market growth. There are many hopes for 2014, now that economy is improving. Last week, the International Monetary Fund said that Pakistan has met nearly all of its quantitative performance markers, that its economy is showing signs of improvement and that its reform program remains broadly on track.

However current forecast for 2014 and 2015 are not in favor of a recovery more for volumes stabilization at current level.
