Poland: April 2013 with flat sales. Renault roared.

Total cars sold in Poland in April 2013 have been 24.002, flat from last year, while cumulated sales were down only 2%. Thanks to the 2013 anticipation of catholic Easter from April to March, this year April was benefit by 2 additional selling days partially influencing cars registrations. However, if this fact has apparently changed the trend in countries like France, Germany or Spain, in case of Poland it was not so relevant. Indeed, the market had already shown a stable trend across previous months.

Looking at Top Brands performance in the last month:

Skoda in 1st sold 2.923 vehicles with a share of 12.2%, up 1.5 points of share from the previous month and down 0.4 points from the first quarter of 2013. Year-to-date April sales were 12.497 with a share of 12.5%. Skoda held 7 models in the top 50 with the Fabia as market leader.
