Turkey car market rose 13% in November 2012. Volkswagen on top!

The car light passengers vehicles market in November was at 71.710 sales, down 12.9%% from last year and the year-to-date sales were 659.000, down 10.3%. The future perspectives are positive we project 2013 growing in the range of 10%.

Looking at the best brands performance in the last month:

Volkswagen gained the 1st position (3rd year-to-date) selling 10.143 units with a share of 14.1%, up 2.6 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date November sales were 81.631 with a share of 12.4%.

Fiat got down to the 2nd position (1st year-to-date) selling 9.829 units with a share of 13.7%, down 3.1 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 102.088 with a share of 15.5%.

Ford was 3nd (2nd year-to-date) with 9.351 sales and a share of 13.0%, up 1.6 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 83.937 with a share of 12.7%.

Renault was 4th, selling 7.285 units with a share of 10.2%, down 0.9 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 71.309 with a share of 10.8%.

Hyundai was 5th (6th year-to-date) with 4.805 sales and a share of 6.7%, stable from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 39.899 with a share of 6.1%.

Opel was 6th (5th year-to-date) selling 4.430 units with a share of 6.2%, down 1.8 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 40.854 with a share of 6.2%.

Toyota was 7th, selling 3.100 units with a share of 4.3%, down 1.7 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 30.367 with a share of 4.6%.

Dacia was 8th with 2.441 sales and a share of 3.4%, down 0.2 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 23.992 with a share of 3.6%.

Looking at the top models (as usual our data are updated at the previous month, October), the Renault Fluence conquered the 1st position (2nd in September and year-to-date) selling 2.534 units with a share of 4.2%, up 0.5 points of share from September.

The Fiat Linea in 2nd, lost the leadership, selling 2.474 units with a share of 4.1%, down 0.6 points from the previous month, followed by the Polo in 3rd (13th in September and 6th year-to-date) with 2.132 sales and a share of 3.6%, up 2.1 points from the previous month.

The Astra Hatchback was 4th (7th last month) with 2.010 sales and a share of 3.4%, up 1.5 points from the previous month, followed by the Clio in 5th (14th last month and 8th year-to-date) with 1.929 sales and 3.2% of share, up 1.8 points from September.

The Hyundai i20 was 6th (5th last month and 11th year-to-date) with 1.708 sales and 2.8% of share, up 0.6 points from the previous month, followed by the Corsa in 7th (4th last month) with 1.493 sales and a share of 2.5%, down 0.2 points from September.

The Civic was 8th (12th YTD) with 1.316 sales and a share of 2.2%, up 0.3 points from the previous month, followed by the Fiesta in 9th (3rd last month and YTD) with 1.163 units and 1.9% of share, down 1.5 points from September, and by the Jetta 10th (9th last month) with 1.108 sales and 1.8% of share.
