World Best Selling MPV Wuling Hong Guang S1 MPV

World Best Selling MPV after the first nine months of the year is the Chinese Wuling HOngguang with a wide gap over all others model. The segment is declining 3.9% with global sales at 5.2 million. In top 10 there are not European producers.

In the first nine months of the year, Global Car Passenger’s market grew up 2.4% at 58.7 million units. The MPV segment (including all size of cars) declined 3.9%, with 5.2 million sales, representing the 8.9% of total market.

The best-selling model this year is the Chines Wuling Hongguang with 369.000 units (-15.7%). Produced since September 2010 by SAIC-GM-Wuling it is actually sold just in China.

In second place the Bajoun 730 with 184.000 sales (-20.6%). Launched in the 2014, it was developed at the SAIC-GM-Wuling Chinese joint venture specifically for the Chinese market.

In third place the Honda N-Box, a key car sold just in Japan with 157.000 units (+26.9%).

In fourth place the Honda Odissey with 150.000 units (-10.8%), followed by the Nissan Note with 146.000 (+35.2%), the Dodge Gran Caravan with 145.000 (+1.5%) and the Toyota Innova with 132.000 (+3.9%).

In eight place the Kia Soul with 124.000 (-10.1%) ahead of theToyota Avanza with 120.000 (+8.8%) and in 10th place the Toyota Sienna with 118.000 (-7.7%).
