World Best Selling Pick Up ranking in the first nine months of the 2017 led by a record Ford F-Series, projected clearly over the 1 million units in the year. The segment is growing 2.9% while global light commercial vehicles market is declining 0.8%.

In the first nine months of the year, Global Light Vehicles Market performed a lost of 0.8% at 9.5 million units. The Pick up segment  improved 2.9%, with 4.4 million sales, representing the 46.9% of total market.

The best-selling model ranking was lead again by the Ford F-Series, which is further improving its record and is projected to be the fourth model in the history to outsell 1 million units in a calendar year. During the first nine months, sales have been 797.000, up 9.5% consolidating the second place among all vehicles sold in the World.

In second place the Chevrolet Silverado with 476.000 units, (+0.4%).

In third place the Ram Pick up  with 456.000 sales (+6.0%).

In fourth place the king of the desert and best-selling vehicles in several African and Middle East countries, the Toyota Hilux, with 364.000 sales (-7.3%) followed by the GMC Sierra with 208.000 units (-1.5%) and the Isuzu D-Max with 208.000 (-6.8%).

In seventh place the Ford Ranger, with 189.000 sales (+9.8%) ahead of the Toyota Tacoma with 162.000 (+2.6%), the Chevrolet Colorado with 107.000 (+10.5%) and in 10th place the Toyota Tundra with 94.045 (-0.2%).
