In 2014 the Bosnia Herzegovina Car Market rose only 2% despite the level of the industry stands at lowest level in 30 years. Volkswagen has overtaken Skoda on top of the list.
In December 2014 according to data released by the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the total light passengers vehicles sold in Bosnia Herzegovina have been 516, down 9.8% from the correspondent month last year.
Full Year 2014 sales in Bosnia Herzegovina have been 6.514, up 2.3% from 2013.
The market is led by Volkswagen with 1.223 sales (+15.4%) and 18.8% of market share after that during this year the German brand had overtook Skoda, leader last year and now second with 1.066 sales (-3.6%) with share at 16.4%, down 1.0 points of share from 2013.
Third was Opel with 543 units (+8.3%) ahead of Fiat with 434 and Renault with 394.
As far as best-selling models ranking, the leader was the Skoda Octavia with 478 sales (-4.4%) followed by the Opel Astra with 347 (+26.2%) and Volkswagen Golf with 334 units (-15.7%).
