Spain best selling cars in the 2016 was again the Seat Leon ahead of the Seat Ibiza. Jumping up sixth spots, the Opel Corsa landed in the third step of the podium while the Hyundai Tucson was the best new entrance of the year.
During the 12 months, a day by day battle were in place for the leadership among models between the two Seat, Ibiza and Leon, with a final win for the Leon with 33.653 sales (+1.1%), few units more than the Ibiza, second with 31.396 (+1.6%).
The surprise in behind, thanks to the fast grow of the Opel Corsa, 10th at the end of the 2015 and now third with 26.904 units (+29.9%) outpacing the Volkswagen Polo, fourth with 25.424 units (+1.2%), the Renault Clio with 25.366 (+10.2%) and the Volkswagen Golf with 25.360 (-1.2%).
Behind, the Nissan Qashqai with 25.208 units (+5.8%), the Dacia Sandero, with 25.070 units (-1.1%) the Peugeot 308, up 2 spots, with 23.507 units (+14.5%) and in 10th place the Peugeot 208 with 21.596 (+6.9%).
The new Hyundai Tucson advanced in 14th place with 19.416 units while the Renault Kadjar was 24th with 12.971.
