Greece best selling cars 2016 dominated by the Toyota Yaris while the Nissan Micra advanced in the third place and a small italian car jumped up 6 spots, landing in 4th. Surprisingly, Volkswagen Golf out of top 10.
According to data released by the Association of Motor Vehicle Importers Representatives, during the 2016 the local best-selling model was again made in France and sold by a Japanese company. Indeed it was again the Toyota Yaris with 5.306 units sold, up 5.8%.
The second place was taken by the Opel Corsa with 3.845 units (+10.1%) ahead of the Nissan Micra, up 4 spots, with 2.929 sales (+50.5%), the Fiat Panda, up 6 spots, with 2.710 sales (+52.2%), the Volkswagen Polo with 2.396 sales (-24.4%) and the Peugeot 208 with 2.387 units (-6.9%).
In seventh place the Nissan Qashqai with 2383 (-7.0%) followed by the Renault Clio with 2.240 (+11.4%), the Opel Astra with 2.185 (+36.9%) and in 10th place the Toyota Auris with 1.702 (+15.4%).
