Japan Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2024 is led by the Honda N-BOX, while the Toyota Corolla rose 2 spots and ranked 2nd, overtaking the Suzuki Spacia. The Toyota Yaris and the Daihatsu Tanto dropped out of the podium from 2nd to 4th and from 3rd to 8th respectively.
Looking at the top Japanese Best Selling Models up to November 2024, the Honda N-Box kept its leadership position with 191,423 sales (-9.6%) in front of the Toyota Corolla -up 2 spots- with 154,244 new registrations (+7.5%) and the Suzuki Spacia -up 3 spots-, which secured the 3rd place with 153,136 sales (+37.7%).
The Toyota Yaris -down 2 spots- ranked 4th with 150,918 units sold (-16.2%) followed by the Toyota Sienta with 104,182 sales (-15.3%) and the Nissan Note -up 2 spots- with 95,290 (-1.3%).
The Suzuki Hustler -up 6 spots- ranked in 7th with 85,998 sales (+12.7%) ahead of the Daihatsu Tanto -down 5 spots- with 84,141 (-43%), the Honda Freed -up 6 spots- with 78,791 sales (+11.2%). The Toyota Prius -up 6 spots- closed the top 10 with 76,627 sales (-16.6%).
