Denmark Best Selling Cars 2017 still lead by the Peugeot 208 ahead of the last generation Nissan Qashqai, up 7 spots, and the Volkswagen Up!. Volkswagen holds 4 models out of top 10 while Peugeot 3008 was the best new entrance.
Danish vehicles market is in a record track since 2012, when cars sales had been 170.683 up a record in the 2016 of 223.154 units. During the 2017 the market has lost steam and moved horizontally from the previous year, missing to hit a new record for few thousands units. Indeed, according to data released by the Danish Car Importers Association – De Danske Bilimportører (DBI), in the 2017, car passenger’s sales have been 221.809 (-0.6%).
With regard to the best-selling cars, the 2017 ranking was animated by several new entrance.
However, the leadership unchanged remaining solidly in the hands of the Peugeot 208 with 9.922 units (+4.6%) and a wide gap over the second, the Nissan Qashqai, up 9 spots, with 7.284 sales (+53.2%) and the third, the Volkswagen Up! with 7.232 units (-1.8%).
In fourth place the Volkswagen Golf with 6.443 sales (+33.5%) ahead of the Toyota Yaris with 5.453 (-6.3), the Renault Clio, up 2 spots, with 5.430 units (+10.1%) and the Volkswagen Polo with 4.839 units (-20.5%).
In eight place the Toyota Aygo with 4.668 (-13.2%) followed by the Volkswagen Passat with 4.664 (+4.3%) and the Citroen C1 with 4.515 sales (+18.0%).
