Denmark Best Selling Cars ranking in 2018 with unchanged leadership, taken by the Peugeot 208 ahead of the last generation Nissan Qashqai. The Citroen C3 scored an outstanding performance, jumping in 5th place.
In the 2018 the car passenger’s market is marginally down. Indeed, this is the second negative performance in a row, closing with sales down 1.5%. The deadline of September 1st for introduction of WLTP emission standard, moved up and down the registrations data in single Q3 months. However, this year is still the third largest annual gain in history, with 218.592 units sold.
With regard to the best-selling cars, the 2018 ranking has the previous year leader still on top, the Peugeot 208, with 8.883 units (-10.5%) followed by the Nissan Qashqai with 7.993 sales (+9.7%) and the Volkswagen Golf with 6.452 sales (+0.1%).
In fourth place the Volkswagen Polo with 5.567 units (+15%) ahead of the Citroen C3 with 5.339 (+47.8%), the Toyota Yaris with 5.310 (-2.6%) and the Volkswagen Up! with 4.957 units (-31.5%).
In eight place the Volkswagen Touran with 4.675 units (+10.6%) followed by the Volkswagen Passat with 4.453 (-4.5%) and in 10th place by the Renault Clio with 4.453 (-18%).
