Mexico best-selling cars ranking in 2019 reported the Nissan Versa leading the scene, despite being down 4.6%. The Kia Rio was the best performing in the Top 10, surging 11.6%. Disappointing trend held by the Nissan Sentra, losing over 35%.
Despite the disappointing annual performance, Nissan still owned the Mexican best-selling, with the Nissan Versa. Moreover, the Japanese-based brand is also holding other 3 models in the Top 10 ranking.
Indeed, the best-selling model was the Nissan Versa holding 6.6% of share, while losing 4.6% from the previous year.
In second place the Chevrolet Aveo decreasing in double-digits and holding 5.4% of share, a few units ahead of a former leader in this country, the Chevrolet Beat, which kept a stable trend with 5.3%.
In fourth place the new Nissan NP300 with 4.8%, followed by the Nissan March with 3.8% and the Volkswagen Vento with 3.6%.
Behind, the Kia Rio gained 2 positions from the previous year, holding 2.8% and surging to 11.6%.
In eight position, the Volkswagen Jetta with 2.1%, losing over 20%, ahead of the Mazda3 and the Nissan Sentra.
