Morocco best selling cars 2016 dominated by Dacia models, with the Logan again in the first place as in all the most recent years. Protagonist of the year was the Ford Fiesta, jumped in 2nd.
While the Automotive National Plan is attracting new investors and French car makers have expanded the local production, domestic vehicles market keeps growing and in the 2016 hit a new all time record, the second in a row, with a robust +23.6% at 163.024 units.
According to data released by the A.I.V.A.M. the Association of Vehicles Importers in Morocco, the best-selling model in the 2016 was the Dacia Logan with 13.198 units, confirming the last years leadership.
A great surprise was the second place gained by the Ford Fiesta, up 50.9% at 7.977 sales, dragging the brand up in third place.
The third best model was the Renault Clio with 7.642 units, up 62.7% and up 3 spots, followed by the Dacia Sandero with 6.847 units (+7.8%), the Dacia Dokker with 6.545 sales and the Dacia Lodgy with 5.654.
