France Best Selling Cars Ranking in 2024. The Top 10 is still led by the Renault Clio, followed by the Dacia Sandero and the Peugeot 208. The Toyota Yaris notably rose 7 spots into 9th.
In France more than in any part of the World, local consumers prefer to purchase from local manufacturers, and vehicles produced by Renault or Stellantis dominate the ranking of best-selling cars.
This is confirmed even this year, when the market is steady, as reported in the dedicated post.
Looking at cumulative data up to November 2024, the best selling model in France was the Renault Clio with 81,414 sales (-7.3%).
In second place ranked the low-cost Dacia Sandero with 69,180 sales (+9.6%), followed by the Peugeot 208 -up 2 spots- in 3rd with 45,789 (+8.1%).
In fourth place ranked the Citroen C3 -down 1 spot- with 43,902 sales (-21.5%) followed by the Renault Captur -up 1 spot- with 42,579 (-2.2%)
The Dacia Duster -up 3 spots- secured 6th spot with 36,063 units sold (+21.9%) ahead of the Peugeot 208 BEV with 35,791 sales (-6.1%), the Peugeot 308 -down 2 spots- with 34,385 (-17%) and in 9th place the Toyota Yaris -up 7 spots- with 31,097 sales (+23.3%).
The Peugeot 3008 closed the Top 10 with 30,675 units sold, up 8.5%.
