Indonesia best-selling car in 2019 was again the Toyota Avanza despite crumbling down at 8.7% of market share, while the Toyota Agya and the Honda Brio landed respectively in 2nd and 3rd place.
In 2019, the market leader was still the Toyota Avanza, which dominated for the entire decade, despite having lost 10 points of share since 2013. Indeed, it ended with 9.2%.
In second place, the Toyota Agya, registering a stunning performance (+142.2%), reaching 8% of market share, ahead of the fast-growing Honda Brio and the Mitsubishi Xpander, ending respectively at 7.1% and 6.3%.
The Toyota Rush held the fifth position – with 6.2% – ahead of the Suzuki Carry Pick up with 5.8%, the Toyota Kijang with 5.8% and the Daihatsu Sigra with 5.3%.
Closing the top 10, we find the Mitsubishi L300 with 3.7% and the Daihatsu Grand Max PU with 3.6%.
