Switzerland Best Selling Cars ranking in 2019 is led by the Skoda Octavia for the 3rd consecutive year, while the Volkswagen Tiguan outpaced the still declining Volkswagen Golf. The Tesla Model 3 entered into the Top 10, with 1.5% of share.
In Switzerland, since 2017 the market is held by a new leader, the Skoda Octavia, which kept a stable market share throughout the entire last decade, always around 3%. Indeed, in 2019, while the rest of the ranking is deeply changing, the Octavia will keep the throne with 3.1% of share.
The Volkswagen Tiguan gained the second position – with 2.4% – overtaking the Volkswagen Golf, which has halved its market share, moving from 4.3% in 2010, to a mere 2%.
Behind, impressive performances have been reported by the Mercedes A Class, the Skoda Kodiaq – jumping in 6th place – and the Tesla Model 3, which entered the Top 10 holding 1.5% of share.
