Russia best selling car ranking in 2020 sees the Lada Granta in first position followed by the Lada Vesta and the Kia Rio. Remarkable performance scored by the Toyota Rav4 ending up in 8th place, while the Volkswagen Tiguan enters the leaderboard.
The Russian brand Lada has placed 2 models on the podium, and 3 in the top 10. Indeed, the Lada Granta remained the market leader in 2020, with 126.112 sales (-7.2%), ahead of the Lada Vesta, which reported 107.281 units sold (-3.7%).
Closing the podium, we find the Kia Rio – which in the last decade has gained nearly 3 points of share – selling 88.064 units (-4.8%).
The fourth place was held by the Hyundai Creta at 73.537 sales (+2.9%), widening the gap over the followers, the Volkswagen Polo, and the Hyundai Solaris, with 58.455 units (+4.2%) and 49.280 units (-16%) respectively.
In 7th place we have the Lada Largus with 37.166 units, followed by the fast-growing Toyota Rav4 -up 8 spots-, with 36.433 units sold (+19%), and the Skoda Rapid -climbing 4 spots-, with 34.886 units (-0.7%).
In 10th place we have the Volkswagen Tiguan -up 1 spot- with 32.982 sales, losing 11.4%.
