World Best Selling Coupe in 2021 final data is the Dodge Charger, finally overtaking the Ford Mustang. The Porsche Taycan performs impressively and enters the leaderboard by jumping 7 spots, while the Chevrolet Camaro falls in 11th place.

In 2021, the new best-selling coupe is the Dodge Charger, with 87,412 sales and 11% market share. Introduced in the US market in 1966, this model has been developed across seven generations, the last introduced in 2011, and has finally taken over its archenemy.

In second place we have the previous leader, the Ford Mustang with 72,334 sales (9.1% market share). Manufactured since 1965, it is the most iconic vehicles produced by Ford, having created the “pony car” class of American muscle cars, affordable sporty coupe with long hoods and short rear decks. The 5th current generation, launched in 2014 is distributed in over 135 countries.

In third place we have the Dodge Challenger with 56,972 sales (7.2% share), followed by the Hyundai Tiburon with 54,155 units sold (6.8% share). 

In 5th place, we have the Chevrolet Corvette –up 3 spotswith 35,585 units sold (4.5% share), followed by the Porsche 911 -down 1 spot- with 34,247 units (4.3% share), the Volkswagen Arteon -up 4 spots- and the Porsche Taycan -up 7 spots- with respectively 31,899 (4% share) and 30,158 units sold (3.8% share).

Finally, in ninth place we have the Nissan Rogue -down 3 spots- with 29,927 units sold (3.8% share) and the Mazda MX-5 with 26,170 units sold (3.3% share).
