In December 2022 the Croatian auto market grows for the 5th consecutive month, reporting 2,708 sales (+8.8%). Despite the uptrend in the last months of the year, 2022 closes 2.7% lower than the previous year, totaling 44,083 sales.
Looking at cumulative data from 2022 band-wise, Volkswagen maintains 1st with 5,288 sales (-8.6%), followed by Skoda with 4,506 (-1.4%), Kia -up 1 spot- with 3,413 sales (+5.8%), Opel -down 1 spot- with 3,291 sales (-8.6%) and Dacia at 3,217 registrations (+6.9%).
Toyota Jumps 4 spots into 6th place, with 2,938 sales (+45.4%), in front of Renault -down 1 spot- at 2,612 (-10.1%) and Hyundai in 8th with 2,314 sales (-10.1%).
Suzuki falls 1 spot into 9th position accumulating 1,785 sales (-27.3%) and Peugeot -down 1 spot- closes the Top 10 with 1,636 new car registrations (-25.1%).
