Latin America best-selling cars ranking in 2022 sees the Chevrolet Onix as new leader (+23.2%). The Chevrolet Tracker (+39.1%) and Fiat Cronos (+23.7%) both report great performances, entering the Top 10 for the first time.

The Latin American best-selling cars ranking, while reporting data from 41 countries, is heavily conditioned by the trend in the top markets (Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina), which count for nearly half of the regional sales.

The Chevrolet Onix in 2022 gains market leadership with 140,898 sales, a 23.2% year-on-year increase and 3.0% market share. The Toyota Hilux falls 1 spot into 2nd with 137,711 units sold (+1.7%), followed by the Fiat Strada which reported 118,645 new vehicle registrations (+0.2%).

In 4th ranks the Chevrolet tracker -up 9 spots- with 109,788 sales (+39.1%), followed by the Hyundai BH20 -up 1 spot- with 98,303 units sold (6.6%) and the Volkswagen Gol with 89,325 new registrations (-7.3%).

The Hyundai Creta maintains 7th spot with 86,069 sales (-5.6%)  ahead of the Renault Kwid with 84,980 units sold (+5.5%) and the Fiat Cronos -up 9 spots- with 81,156 units (23.7%).

Closing the Top 10, the Volkswagen T-Cross rises 1 spot from the previous year, recording 80,911 sales, a 2.2% increase from the previous year.
