Looking at cumulative data from 2023, brand-wise Toyota maintained 1st with 1.38 million sales (+30.1%), followed by Honda at 564,595 (+5.6%), Suzuki at 521,239 registrations (+8.8%), Daihatsu at 428,289 (+9.8%), Nissan with 400,299 sales (+5.5%), Mazda at 165,847 (+10.5%) and Subaru with 98,623 new registrations (+7.1%).
Lexus rises 2 spots ranking in 8th with 94,645 sales (+129.4%), in front of Mitsubishi -down 1 spot- with 94,015 sales (+16.0%) and Mercedes -down 1 spot- closed the Top 10 with 51,238 new car registrations (-2.2%).
Looking at specific models the Honda N-Box was the best seller with a 14.4% increase in year-on-year sales, followed by the Toyota Yaris up 15.3%.
