Looking at data from 2023 brand-wise, the leader remains Toyota with 16,558 sales (+3.0%), followed by Volkswagen -up 1 spot- at 13,380 (+13.6%) and Hyundai -down 1 spot- with 11,818 units sold (-7.2%).
Skoda -up 1 spot- with 10,193 sales (+33.6%) ranks in 4th, followed by Kia -down 1 spot- with 9,166 sales (+15.2%), Ford with 6,070 (+19.6%) and Audi -up 1 spot- with 5,265 new registrations (+21.2%).
BMW jumps 2 spots into 8th with 4,804 sales (+17.3%), in front Dacia -up 4 spots- at 4,735 (+39.4%) and Peugeot closing the top 10 with 4,534 sales (-3.7%).
Looking at specific models the Hyundai Tucson is still the best seller despite losing 18.6% in year-on-year volume, followed by the Toyota Corolla up 6.2%.
