With regard to the regional best-selling cars ranking and cumulative sales up to October 2024, the leadership was still in the hands of the Toyota Hilux, produced in Thailand, ahead of its competitors with 150,575 units sold (-12.1%), followed closely by the Perodua Myvi -up 1 spot- with 100,983 cumulative sales (+2%).
The Isuzu D-Max -down 1 spot- closed the podium with 92,570 sales (-30.3%), followed by the Honda City with 75,838 units sold (-10.6%) and the Honda HR-V with 75,580 new registrations (-8.2%).
In 6th place ranked the Toyota Vios -up 1 spot- with 74,973 units sold (+4.8%), followed by the Mitsubishi Xpander -down 1 spot- at 74,622 registrations (-7.9%) and the Toyota Avanza with 60,649 sales (-11.5%).
Closing the leaderboard, the Perodua Bezza -up 1 spot- ranked in 9th with 60,544 units sold this year (+2%) and the Ford Ranger -down 1 spot- into 10th with 60,366 cumulative sales (-6.8%).
