Belgium: Car Market Report. Best-selling 30 Brands.

Accordingly with data released by FEBIAC, the Belgium Association of Car Manufacturers, in November the total passengers cars registered in Belgium were 32.023, down 10.6% from last year. This was the sixth year on year declining month in a string and moved the cumulated market figure in negative territory. Indeed, YTD November sales were 460.984, down 0.7% from last year.

Looking at the best brands performance:

Volkswagen was again leader although Renault is very near. Sales were 3.275 with share at 10.2%, up 0.1 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 47.768 with a share of 10.4%, down 0.2 points from full year 2012.

Renault in second place sold 3.104 units with share at 9.7%, down 0.3 points of share from October. Year-to-date sales were 43.036 with a share of 9.3%, down 0.2 points from FY 2012.

Peugeot ranked third with 2.509 sales and share fell at 7.8%, down 1.6 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 36.848 with a share of 8.0%, down 0.3 points of share from 2012.

BMW advanced in fourth with 2.203 sales and a share at 6.9%, up 0.1 points from the previous month. Year-to-date BMW was 6th with 30.450 sales and 6.6% of share, up 0.3 points from FY 2012.

Opel rose in fifth, up 2 spots, selling 2.195 cars with share at 6.9%, up 1.5 points from October. Year to date sales were 32.321 with share at 7.0%, down 0.6 points from last year.
