The surprise is the advance in second place, first time ever, of the Ram pick-up which ran at the new record share, ahead of the Chevrolet Silverado. Two pickups battled for the leadership among car passenger with the Toyota RAV4 prevailing over the Honda CR-V.

USA vehicles sales in 2019 maintained the moderately declining trend, but keeping the full year registrations above 17 million units. Indeed, the full year ended with 17.076.024 units sold, down 1.5% from the previous year. Ford and Chevrolet kept losing terrain, ending at the lower market share in the decade.
