Uruguayan Vehicles Market up by 17.7% in 2024 as sales in October reached 6,263 units. YTD figures totaled 49,356, up 8.4% compared to the prior year. Nissan and Toyota posted impressive performances while Fiat fell out of the podium into 3rd.   

Chilean Vehicles Market bounces back in October 2024. Monthly sales registered 26,499 new registrations (+8.5%). YTD figures at 241,684 were down 5.8% from the prior year. Hyundai climbed one spot, closing in on Toyota which fell 13% in year-on-year volume. 

Latin America Best-Selling Cars Ranking in 2024 saw the Volkswagen Polo becoming market leader (+44.3%), followed by the Fiat Strada (+17.4%). The Chevrolet Onix lost its spot at the top of the podium and ranked in 3rd (-10.1%).   

Latin America's Automotive Market up to October 2024 reported 4,05 million sales (+0.7%). Though the largest markets Brazil (+14.7%) and Mexico (+9.9%) posted double-digit growth, Argentina slowed regional sales down with a 9.8% loss in volume.

Latin America best-selling cars ranking in 2023 sees the Chevrolet Onix still as market leader (+0.8%). The Volkswagen Polo  posts the best performance in the top 50, jumping 53 spots into 4th (+484.8%).

Chilean Vehicles Market lost sharply in 2023. After having reached the all-time high in 2022, the light vehicles market in 2023 lost a deep 26.7% with 312,191 registrations, hit by the economic recession.
