Cambodian Auto market keeps growing despite the absurd fiscal system in place, which penalized the import of regular new vehicles sustaining trading activities for pre-registered models and for pre-owned obsolete vehicles. In the 2018 the market improved 8%

Thailand vehicles market kept the outstanding momentum in 2018 signing the second consecutive annual growth, with registrations at 850.012 (+21.9%). Toyota, the market leader with 30.2% of market share, is followed by Isuzu and Honda.

Vietnamese vehicles market grew 11.1% in 2018 reaching the second highest volume in history, ending the year with 278.352 units sold. Toyota is again the market leader - with 23.4% of market share - while Honda scored an impressive performance, gaining the 4th place.

Singapore Car market in 2018 fell down 12.7% after three years of gain in a row, ending with 80.268 units sold. Honda is the market leader, ahead of Toyota and Mercedes. Hyundai (+72%) is the winner of the year, gaining the 4th place.

Lao vehicles sales were negative again in the 2018 as in the previous three years, mainly due to the fall of HCVs and the over 50% sales lost by the local producer, Daeham. Toyota dominates with over 40% of market share. The 2019-2025 outlook is positive.

Asean best selling cars 2018 ranking confirms the leadership under the Toyota Hilux. The best model in Malaysia, the Perodua Axia,  advanced in the third step of the podium while the new Mitsubishi Xpander, already best model in Indonesia, landed in eight place.

Indonesian Vehicles Sales grew 7.1% in 2018 keeping the positive trend of previous years, ending with 1.139.901 units sold. The market podium is unchanged - with Toyota on the top - while impressive performances were scored by Mitsubishi and Wuling.

Thailand best selling cars ranking in the 2018 is dominated by pick ups with on top of the list the Isuzu D-Max, the Toyota Hilux, the Ford Ranger and the Mitsubishi Triton. The best car passenger's is the Mazda2.

Indonesia best selling cars 2017 with the podium monopolized by Toyota with the Avanza, Calya and Innova in a row. The newness of the year was the entrance of two Suzuki models within the top 10, thanks to the Ertiga and the Carry pick up.

Myanmar Cars Market in the 2017 kept momentum with a steady growth, following the huge increase posted in the previous year. Toyota is market leader ahead of Suzuki and Ford. No effects from new limits to pre-owned vehicles import.
