Chinese Auto Market fell down in 2018 first time since the '90s. The market fell during the second half, despite tax reduction ending the year at 27.5 million units. Volkswagen led the market with over double sales than Honda, while Geely (+10%) advanced in third place.

Best Selling Cars Models in China in 2018 were under the leadership of the Volkswagen Lavida, which was corroborated by the June' launch of last generation allowing to take distance from all other competitors. Impressive performance scored by the Nissan Sylphy, gaining the second position.

Japan best selling cars 2018 led by the kei-car Honda N-Box up 10.7% followed by the surprise of the year, the Suzuki Spacia. The Daihatsu Move is only sixth, while the Daihatsu Mira enters into the Top10.

Korean Vehicles Market in 2018 registered a marginal improvement - up 1.3% from last year - ending with 1.806.609. Importers improved their mix at 14.6% thanks to the re-start of Volkswagen operations while General Motors has lost 29%.

Pakistani Vehicles Sales grew 6.9% in 2018 with a second consecutive year of gain, breaking the quarter-million threshold, ending at 264.442. Suzuki kept the lead of the market with over 50% of market share, while JAC joined the battlefield.

Taiwan Best Selling Cars ranking in 2018 was again dominated by the Toyota Corolla - despite the fall by 30% - while the Toyota Rav-4 gained the second place ahead of the Honda CR-V. Impressive performance registered by the Mazda CX-5, joining the Top10.

Indian Autos Market in 2018 registered a new all-time record, closing the year at 3.381.696 sales (+4.8%), despite a declining second half due to weakening Rupee, raising fuel prices and interest rates. However, Maruti managed to end up 8% ahead of Hyundai and Mahindra.

Taiwanese Vehicles Sales fell 3.2% in 2018 interrupting the positive performances scored in recent years, closing with 432.314 sales. Despite the fall by 10%, Toyota is still the market leader, ahead of Honda and Nissan.
