World Best Selling Car ranking in the 2019 was still under the leading of the Toyota Corolla, followed by Ford F-Series. The third place is held by the Toyota RAV4, after losing the podium for a few months from the Honda Civic, still in the fourth place. The Ram pick-up keeps climbing the ranking, gaining the 8th position.
World Cars Brand Ranking for June with the Top 50 Brands reported. Toyota consolidates its market leader position, keeping a safe gap over Volkswagen (-6.6%). Nissan, Maruti and Peugeot declined in double-digits, while Honda is fighting for the 4th place.
World Light Vehicles in July declined by 2.3% with 6.740.259 units sold. Despite losing 1.4% Volkswagen Group held 12.1% of market share, while Toyota Group gained 2.1%. General Motors and P.S.A. both scored again negative performances.

World Best Selling Executive Cars ranking in the First Half of 2019 was still dominated by the Mercedes E Class with a safe gap over the archrival BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. Impressive performance scored by the Peugeot 508, jumping in 12th place.
World Best Selling City Cars in 2019 show the Indian Maruti Alto leading ahead of the Italian Fiat Panda – up 2 spots – and the 500. The Suzuki Spark jumped in 4th position, up in double-digits, while the Daihatsu Tanto and the Nissan Dayz impressed.
World Best Selling Small Cars in 2019 is still dominated by the Volkswagen Polo – despite losing 15.4% from the previous year – followed by the Toyota Yaris and the Renault Clio. The Honda N-Box – up 2 spots – jumped in the Top 10.
Sport Utility Segment lost 4.1% in the First Half of 2019 and the Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling model (+8.4%) followed by the Honda CR-V which outpaced the Volkswagen Tiguan down in double-digits (-10.7%). The Mercedes GLC entered the Top 10.
World Best Selling MPV ranking in the First Half of 2019 was dominated by the Wuling Hongguang despite being hit by a sharp sales’ drop (-10.5%). The Kia Soul reached the 3rd position, scoring the only positive performance in the Top 10 (+10.3%), together with the Toyota Sienta.
World Best Selling MPV ranking in the 2018 was dominated by the Chinese Wuling Hongguang despite losing 10.5%. However, the rest of the podium changed from the previous year thanks to the success of the Honda Odyssey, second, and the Dodge Gran Caravan, third.

Sport Utility Segment grew up 69% in last 5 years and Toyota, Nissan & Honda are the best brands in the segment. However, Nissan-Renault are the best-selling manufacturers. In the 2018, the best-selling model was the Toyota RAV4 for the second year in a row.
World Best Selling Small Cars in the 2018 was dominated again by the Volkswagen Polo reinforced by the launch of the last generation and now distributed in Latin America as well. In second place the Toyota Yaris, ahead of the Renault Clio.
