In 2019 Volkswagen hit the record share of 12.2% while Toyota Groups overtook the Renault-Nissan Alliance, holding respectively 11.4% and 10.9% of share. World Best Selling City Cars in 2019 show the Indian Maruti Alto leading ahead of the Italian Fiat Panda – up 2 spots – and the 500. The Suzuki Spark jumped in 4th position, up in double-digits, while the Daihatsu Tanto and the Nissan Dayz impressed.

Sport Utility Segment lost 4.1% in the First Half of 2019 and the Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling model (+8.4%) followed by the Honda CR-V which outpaced the Volkswagen Tiguan down in double-digits (-10.7%). The Mercedes GLC entered the Top 10.
