World Best Selling SUV 2017ranking with the Toyota RAV4, the car that in 1994 started the era of this kind of vehicles, back on top of the list, overtaking the former leader, the Honda CR-V. Nissan place three SUVs in the top ten.

World Best Selling Executive Cars 2017 grew 7.6% at 3.0 million units. On top of the list the archrival Mercedes E Class and BMW 5 Series with a wide gap of the Audi A6, penalized by the age of current model. Tesla Model S ranked in 10th place.

World Best Selling Mid Size Cars 2017 fell down 4.7% at 9.8 million units. On top of the list the archrival Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, both just renovated with the launch of the new generation. China counts 41% of global sales for this segment.

World Best Selling Small Cars 2017 dominated by the Volkswagen Polo. albeit losing terrain. In second place the Toyota Yaris, despite is the oldest among top sellers. The raising stars are the Citroen C3 in 10th, up 9 spots and Chinese Baojun 310, 14th.
