World Best Selling Car ranking in 2020 shows the Toyota Corolla still on top of the list, followed by the best pick-up sold ever, the Ford F-Series. The third place is still held by the first SUV ever produced, the Toyota RAV4, with 1.2% of share.

World Best Selling MPV ranking in 2019 was dominated by the Wuling Hongguang despite being hit by a sharp sales' drop (-21.3%). The Kia Soul reached the 2nd position, overtaking the Dodge Grand Caravan, which lost 19%.

Sport Utility Segment was stable (+0.1%) in 2019 and the Toyota RAV4 was the best-selling model (+13.9%) followed by the Honda CR-V which outpaced the Volkswagen Tiguan down in double-digits (-8.2%). The Haval H6 and Nissan Rogue fell at the edge of the top 10.

World Best Selling Small Cars in 2019 was still dominated by the Volkswagen Polo - despite losing 17.4% from the previous year - followed by the Toyota Yaris and the Renault Clio. The Chevrolet Onix landed in 5th place, while the Honda N-Box entered the top 10.

World Best Selling Pick Up in 2019 was led again by large American style models, while the best compact pickup is the "king of the desert", the Toyota Hilux. Outstanding performances were scored by the Ram Pick-up (+17.4%) - up in second position - and the Ford Ranger (+32.3%).

World Best Selling Executive Cars in 2019 was still dominated by the Mercedes E Class with a safe gap over the archrival BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. Impressive performance scored by the Peugeot 508, landing in 11th place.

World Best Selling Mid Size Cars in 2019 declined by 3.1% at 9.15 million units. The Toyota Camry held the top of the list, keeping a safe gap from the Honda Accord and the Volkswagen Lavida. The Tesla Model 3, jumped in 10th position, booming 96%.

World Best Selling Compact Cars segment in 2019 fell down 11.2% with 12.3 million global sales. The Toyota Corolla kept dominating the ranking, followed by the Honda Civic and the Volkswagen Golf. The Mercedes A Class was the best top 10 model, booming 72.6%.

World Best Selling Coupe in 2019 was the Dodge Charger, overtaking the former leader, the Ford Mustang, which lost 3.4%. The Genesis G70 gained the 7th place, signing a stunning performance, while the Tesla Model X fell 21.9%.

World Best Selling City Cars in 2019 have seen the Indian Maruti Alto leading ahead of the Italian Fiat Panda - up 2 spots - and the Ford KA. The Daihatsu Tanto jumped in 5th position, up in double-digits, while the Nissan Dayz gained the 8th spot.
