Croatian auto market in December 2023 grows for the 5th month in a row after losing 3.3% in July, with 3,413 new registrations (+26.3%). Yearly figures at 56,679 are up 28.6% from the previous year.
Looking at cumulative data from 2023 brand-wise, Skoda gains 1st spot with 6,587 sales (+46.2%), followed by Volkswagen -down 1 spot- with 6,575 (+24.3%), Renault -up 4 spots- with 5,862 sales (+124.4%), Kia -down 1 spot- with 3,955 units sold (+15.9%) and Dacia at 3,891 registrations (+21.0%).
Suzuki gains 3 spots, reaching the 6th place, with 3,370 sales (+88.8%), in front of Toyota -down 1 spot- at 3,185 (+8.4%) and Opel -down 4 spots- in 8th with 2,846 sales (-16.0%).
Hyundai loses 1 spot into 9th with 2,412 sales (+4.2%) and Audi -up 2 spots- closes the Top 10 with 2,393 new car registrations (+1.6%).
The best selling car is the Renault Clio up 197.1% and 8 spots from the previous year, followed closely by the Skoda Octavia up 28.9%.
