Global Auto Market at record level in first half 2014 despite in June sales grew at lowest speed in the last year and half and new clouds arrived from East Europe. Many large markets are in deep difficulties, including Brazil, Russia and Turkey.

In June 2014 according to data released by Focus2move and aggregated following 160 Global Car Markets, the total light passengers cars sold world-wide have been 7.31 million, scoring a 2.3% increase from the correspondent month last year, the lowest performance in the last 16 month. First Half sales have been 43.319.000, posting 1.5 million vehicles sold more than last year or 3.6% from year ago.

The market is losing speed and the second half is now expected further weaker. Indeed there are many Top Countries falling down, and to the difficulties of Brazil, Thailand, Argentina and Turkey, now it should be considered the deteriorating mood in Russia.

The other large market with a negative trend is India that since the May political elections is showing a renovated demand that could be consolidated in case of the new government will really put in place the announced reforms in the Automotive sector.

In June the largest market China keeps leading the global growth and with over 1.7 million vehicles sold with a robust 7.3% increase ending the half with 11.6 million, up 8.5%. The second market was the USA with a little monthly increase, while the third, Japan, posted an amazing double digit increase, the best performance among the top ten markets.

June fastest growing markets had been Spain, in 15th with 100.458 sales, up 23.3%, Malaysia (20th with 58.358, up 43.4%), Taiwan (26th with 40.189, +23.4%), United Arab Emirates (27th with 33.121,+16.8%) and Sweden ( 31st with 32.689, +25.9%).
