In August 2014 according to data collected by Focus2move Research Team through local operators and SIAM, the Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers, total new Car Passengers sold have been 197.703, up a robust 15.5% from the correspondent month last year, posting the fourth year on year market increase. It is not a case that the new positive mood started in May when a new government has taken the leadership of the country announcing a radical revolution in the automotive sector regulation.

In the first eight month of the year sales have been negative with 1.690.162 units, up 2.6% from year ago.

However, pushed up by the immediate amazing success of the new Mobilio, introduced in the market in July, Honda posted an 88% whooping jump at 16.758 units (against 8.913 units in August 2013) soaring in the podium as the third best carmaker.
