Indonesia: market on track to new all-time record. Top 25 car brands and models ranking.

Accordingly with data released by Gaikindo, the Indonesian Association of Automotive Manufacturers, in November 2013 total light commercial vehicles sold in the country were 99.988 sales, down 1.1% from last year. Year to date sales were 1.049.323, up 5.7% from last year. Indonesia is expected to set a new car sales record in 2103

Looking at the best brands performance:

Toyota stands over 30% market share although November performance was slower than before, with 32.114 sales and 32.1% of share, down 3.1 points from October. Year-to-date sales had been 376.202 with a share of 35.5%, down 2.1 points from full year 2012. The new city car Agya advanced in second place, immediately after the traditional leader, the MPV Avanza.

Daihatsu was second selling 15.856 units with a share of 15.9%, down 0.4 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 154.209 with a share of 14.6%, down 0.5 points from last year. The best-selling model was the new city car Ayila, in third, followed by the Gran Max in 5th and by Xenia in 8th.

Mitsubishi was third selling 14.558 units with a share of 14.6%, up 0.9 points from the previous month. Year-to-date Mitsubishi was fourth with 145.027 sales, just few units behind Suzuki, with a share of 13.7%, down 0.1 points from last year. The best-selling model was the T120-SS in 10th place.

Suzuki ranked fourth with 14.256 sales and 14.3%, up 2.2 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date Suzuki was third with 145.657 and 13.8% of share, up 2.1 points from last year. The best-selling model was the Ertiga fell in ninth place.

Honda was fifth selling 7.458 units with a share of 7.5%, down 0.3 points from October. Year-to-date sales were 87.290 with a share of 8.2%, up 1.8 points from 2012. The top model was the Jazz in 13th position.

Nissan was 6th selling 6.458 vehicles with a share of 6.5, up 1.1 points from October. Year-to-date sales were 59.953 with a share of 5.7%, down 0.5 from last year. The Grand Livina ranked 12th.

Isuzu was 7th selling 2.745 units with a share of 2.7%, up 0.4 points from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 28.421 with a share of 2.7%, down 0.4 points from 2012.

Chevrolet ranked 8th with 1.684 sales and a share flat at 1.7%. Year-to-date sales were 14.152 with a share of 1.3%, up 0.8 points from last year. The top model was the Spin in 24th place.
