Ireland Best Selling Cars in 2019 saw the Toyota Corolla conquering the market throne, interrupting the Hyundai Tucson domain. Impressive performance scored by the Hyundai Kona.
In 2019, the Irish market reported a new market leader, the Toyota Corolla, which gained over 2 points of share from the previous year, reaching 3.8%.
In second place, the former leader Hyundai Tucson, holding 3.3%, ahead of the Nissan Qashqai with 3.2% and the Volkswagen Tiguan, which improved in double-digits, gaining 2 spots from 2018.
In fifth place, the Skoda Octavia with 2.8%, followed by the Volkswagen Golf – which slipped down by 3 positions – and the fast-growing Hyundai Kona – with 2.5% – up 9 spots.
Closing the top 10, we find the Ford Focus and the Toyota Yaris, both declining in double-digits, ahead of the Toyota C-HR, ending with 2.2%.
