Israeli Vehicle Market roars in September at best of the year. Hyundai was market leader with Kia just on its back and Toyota behind. See statistics on Brands, Groups & Models.

In September 2014 according to data released by the Israeli Department of Transportation System total new Light Passenger Vehicles sold in Israel have been 18.761, up an impressive 60% compared with the correspondent month last year.

During the third Quarter July and August has been negative posting a y.o.y. performance respectively of -12% and -5.5%.

Year-to-date September sales in Israel have been 192.542, up 17.2% from the correspondent period last year.

Focus2move full year 2014 Car Market volume projection has been revised at 245.200 representing a 15.6% increase from 2013.

Hyundai regained the leadership lost in August with 2.450 sales in September and 25.770 year to date with share respectively at 13.1% and 13.4%, with sales volume up 149% compared with last year.

Immediately behind, Kia lost one place with 2.225 retails this month, up 108%, while Toyota was third (2nd looking at year to date figures) with 2.007 units and 10.7% of share, improving September volume by 32%, the lowest increase among top10 players.

Suzuki grew in September reaching 7% of share with 1.322 sales and increasing 123% from same month last year. Renault in 5th was very closed to the Japanese brand, just 100 units less sold this month with share at 6.5%.

In September great performances have been posted by Mazda (9th with 942 sales, + 207%), BMW (19th with 174 units, +228%), Isuzu (20th with 167 sales, +328%) and Jeep (28th with 40 sales, +471%).

Looking at the recently introduced report on Car Groups, the September leader was Hyundai-Kia with 24.9% of market share, ahead of Volkswagen Group with 13.1% and Renault-Nissan with 12.2%.

As far as model ranking report, the Toyota Corolla was again on top with 901 sales despite losing 6.8%, followed by Kia Picanto (+58%) with 793 units and Suzuki SX4 with 736 (+411%).

Among the fastest growing model there was the small Hyundai i10 (4th with 725 units, +1051%) with Renault Kangoo, Toyota Verso, Chevrolet Sonic.
