Italian Best Selling Cars ranking in 2024 with only 1 Fiat within the top 10. In Q1 only the Fiat Panda resists at the Italian brand deep decline, keeping the leadership again, ahead of Dacia Sandero and Citroen C3.

 

The decline of the Italian automotive industry is confirmed by the ranking of best selling cars, with only 2 Fiat models within the Top 16 with the addition of the survived Lancia Ypsilon, the last model of a famous, but near extinction, brand.

On top of the market there is again, although marginally changed in the over 40 years of life, Fiat Panda, an entry level city car, basically sold only in the Bel Paese.

Fiat Panda reported a first quarter sales at 34.303 (+20.0%) and is well ahead to all followers.

In second place the Dacia Sandero confirmed the previous year ranking with 17.885 sales (+40.1%) ahead of the Citroen C3 with 13.711 (+49.1%).

In fourth place the Lancia Ypsilon with 12.907 sales (+16.3%) ahead of the Toyota Yaris Cross  with 10.599 (-4.5%), the new entrance in the top list, the Jeep Avenger with 10.58 sales and the Peugeot 208 with 8.908 (+97.3%).

In eight place the Volkswagen T-Roc with 8.409 sales (-11.1%) followed by the Dacia Duster -down 3 spots- with 8.398 sales (-13.0%) and in 10th place the Peugeot 2008 with 8.390 (+53.0%).
