Moldavian Vehicle Sales are roaring in 2014 and after the first five month of the year sales were up 17 percent from the correspondent period last year. Dacia leads the competition thanks to the large success of the low cost Logan.

In May, accordingly with data released by Ceauto.hu,, total Light Passengers vehicles sold in Moldavia have been 391, posting a superb 17.4% increase and following others two amazing performances scored in March and April. Year to date sales have been 1.948, up 17.0% confirming that the market is again in a positive path following the stagnant performance reported in the 2013.

Albeit a low May performance, Dacia is again the undisputed leader of this market, having retailed so far this year 438 units with a share of 22.5%, down 2.1 points of share from last year.

Skoda and Toyota are fighting for the second place having retails in the first five month of the year respectively 198 and 178 vehicles.

One car any five is a Dacia Logan (278 retails in five month) while the second best-selling model is the Skoda Superb (73 units) followed by the Skoda Octavia (69 units).
