Philippines: Car Market Statistics. Toyota share over 40 percent.

Accordingly with data reported by AVID and Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), in November 2013 the light passenger vehicles sold in the Philippines were 18.276, up a 6.0% from last year posting the 20th year-on-year growth in a string. Year to date sales were 191.120, up 24.2%.

Looking at the best brand performance:

Toyota flied up 40% of market share with 7.426 sales. Year-to-date sales were 68.218 with a share of 35.8%, down 1.4 points from full year 2012. The Vios was market leader again.

Mitsubishi in 2nd sold 3.618 vehicles with a share at 19.8%, down 0.7 points from October. Year-to-date sales were 38.854 with a share of 20.4%, up 1.9 points from last year. The top model Montero ranked second.

Hyundai was 3rd selling 1.712 units with a share of 9.4%, up 0.6 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 19.617 with a share of 10.3%, down 0.6 points from last year.

Ford was fourth selling 1.186 vehicles with a share of 6.5%, down 0.2 points from October. Year-to-date Ford was fifth with 12.063 sales and a share of 6.3%, up 0.8 points from 2012.

Isuzu was fifth with 1.001 sales and 5.5% of share, down 0.3 points. Year to date it was sixth with 7.193 sales and 5.6% of share, down 0.4 points from 2012.
